The new Rangitane Cultural Centre replaces a former community hall on a prominent site in Grovetown just outside Blenheim. The brief called for a contemporary building to signify a new chapter in the history of the Rangitane people following the Crown settlement of 2012. The building contains a large hall, commercial kitchen, and meeting rooms that can be used to sleep large groups attending cultural events.
